THE VALUE OF TIME

 Norcia, in the heart of the Sibillini Mountains National Park, is the ideal place to disconnect from your daily routine and experience days of discovery, adventure, and a touch of adrenaline.

Tips for your stay:

• Sunday morning: Holy Mass at the Basilica of San Benedetto or Benedictine Mass at the Abbey of San Benedetto in Monte
• Easy local riding: along the Spoleto-Norcia railway, crossing the Norcia marshes (starting on foot directly from the hotel)
• Easy riding to the Piano Grande of Castelluccio di Norcia (accessible by own transport)

OUR FAVORITE PLACES

Laghetti di Accumuli: A magical place reached after a charming trek suitable for everyone, through ridges and woods. You'll often encounter herds of wild horses and grazing cows. You begin by following a dirt road that starts from the ridge, which you can reach by car after passing the village of Forca Canapine.

Vetta del Monte Patino 1880m: A challenging trek, with about 1000m of elevation gain, starting from Forchetta d'Ancarano. You climb this beautiful mountain overlooking the Norcia Valley. The arrival is on the ridge and culminates at the summit where the large cross is located. Recommended for good weather conditions, not when the gullies are snow-covered.

Monte Vettore 2476m : This is the highest peak in the Sibillini Mountains. The easiest starting point is from Forca di Presta, which is located a few kilometers to the right after crossing the Piano Grande di Castelluccio coming from Norcia. Medium level, the climb is recommended only with excellent visibility.

THEN WELLNESS: ENDING THE DAY THE RIGHT WAY

After dining, wellness is the natural progression: sauna, Turkish bath, experience showers, and foot bath. You don't need to "do a lot": just do it well. And then in the evening, enjoy the silence of the village to rest.
